Children Portraits
Charcoal Portraits lend themselves to a more contemporary feel of the artwork and its environment. Charcoal portraits are
enhanced with spare elements of white pastel to indicate the
highlighted areas.
Pastel portraits are created using soft pastels to render the
softness of a child’s face. Each portrait is a head and shoulders
view made from the parent's (or grandparent's) selection of a specific photo. I schedule the photo shoot with the
parent to take place at their home or a nearby park where the
child is most comfortable.
